We are joint controllers of the personal data described in this policy, within the meaning of Article 26 of the GDPR. We have agreed between ourselves who is responsible for what, and the substance of that arrangement is set out below. Whichever of us you contact, you can exercise all of your rights with any one of us, and we will handle it.

For anything concerning personal data, write to info@behindinventions.com. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to.

 

2. What this policy covers

 

This policy applies to behindinvestments.com and every page on it, including the sections of each of the three companies and the shareholder sections. It does not apply to other websites we link to — those have their own policies.

 

3. What we process, why, and on what basis

 

Messages you send us

What: Your name, email address and the content of your message, plus anything else you choose to include, when you use the contact form or write to us directly.

Why: To read your message and reply to it.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. Where your message concerns a possible investment or partnership, Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

How long: Three years from our last exchange, then deleted.

 

Technical log data

What: Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you opened and when.

Why: Keeping the site running, secure and free of abuse.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

How long: Up to 12 months.

 

Analytics

What: Aggregated statistics about how the site is used, collected by Wix Analytics through cookies.

Why: Understanding which pages people actually read, so we can make them better.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, given through the cookie banner.

How long: Until you withdraw consent; at most 14 months.

 

Documents published for shareholders

What: Names of members of our corporate bodies and, where applicable, of shareholders, contained in documents we publish in the shareholder sections.

Why: Meeting our statutory publication duties under Czech law.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with a legal obligation (Act No. 90/2012 Coll., on Business Corporations).

How long: For as long as the law requires.

 

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it to build profiles of you, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Providing your data is voluntary. If you do not fill in the contact form, you simply cannot send us a message through the site — nothing else on the site depends on it.

 

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use two kinds.

Essential cookies

These make the site work — they keep your session, remember your cookie choice, and protect the site against abuse. They are set by our website platform, Wix, and the site cannot function without them. Under Czech law (Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications) these do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies

These tell us, in aggregate, which pages are read and how people move through the site. We use Wix Analytics for this. They are only set if you allow them in the cookie banner. If you do not, the site works exactly the same.

 

Changing your mind

You can withdraw your consent at any time, and it is as easy as giving it. You can also delete cookies or block them entirely in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

5. Who else sees your data

We do not share your personal data with anyone except the following, and only to the extent needed:

• Wix.com Ltd. — hosts this website and provides the contact form and analytics, as our processor under a data processing agreement.

• Our email provider —Microsoft 365 — delivers and stores the messages you send us.

• Our professional advisors — lawyers, auditors and accountants, where a matter genuinely requires it. All are bound by confidentiality.

• Public authorities, where we are required by law to provide data.

 

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Wix.com Ltd. is established in Israel, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data. Where any of our processors stores data outside the EEA in a country without such a recognition, the transfer takes place under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply.

7. How we protect your data

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the mailbox and to the website administration is limited to the people in the group who need it, and is protected by strong authentication. We review who has access whenever someone’s role changes.

 

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Know what we hold about you and get a copy of it.

• Have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete.

• Have it erased, where we no longer have a reason to keep it.

• Restrict how we use it while a dispute about it is resolved.

• Receive it in a portable format, where we process it on the basis of your consent or a contract.

• Object to processing based on our legitimate interest. If you object, we stop unless we can show compelling grounds that override your interests.

• Withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.

 

Write to info@behindinventions.com and we will respond within one month. If your request is complex we may extend that by two further months and will tell you why. We may need to verify who you are before we act — this protects you, not us.

9. Complaints

If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, please tell us first — most things are a misunderstanding we can fix quickly. You also have the right to complain at any time to the Czech supervisory authority:

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will publish the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will say so on the homepage for 30 days.
